There are 7 billion people in the world. Why are you letting one of them ruin your life?

However, I’m sorry to hear that you feel someone is ruining your life. Remember, you have the power to make choices (how to respond) that can improve your well-being.

I just wanted to mention that this weekend has been jam-packed and hectic, leaving me with no time to write for the sixth day. Whenever I try to write, my mind gets stuck. My fingers feel rigid. Eventually, the only thing I can do is relax and read a book before falling asleep.

Then, just when I was getting really sleepy, a message popped up from a friend. He was basically just sharing some issues he’s been facing at his company.

I’ve carefully read the chat and it seems that the issue he’s facing isn’t something that requires too much pondering. It appears that there’s someone trying to ruin his day and divert his attention from what’s crucial for his company at the moment — sales.

I’m not saying that the swear words or criticism he received were not important. But try not to react when you are tired, angry, hungry, or respond to everything with a quick reaction. Take a brief pause and prioritize urgent matters. If in his case, just stays focused on how to improve sales.

Life gets better once you realize you don’t need to react to everything. Don’t be upset with people and situations in your life, because both are powerless without your reaction. That’s what I call: a High-Class Response!
